Master of Ceremonies
Also known as a master of ceremonies, MC, or emcee, the master of ceremony is an individual who functions as the facilitator and host of an event. Generally, he or she will perform several functions, with some related to interacting with guests and others associated with others working behind the scenes. In general, an effective emcee exhibits a warm and inviting personality, is articulate, and has the ability to relate and work well with people.
Karaoke
A Party DJ is a talented individual that plays a variety of music at an event, from all sorts of eras. Usually they are experienced in bantering with guests and taking requests too. DJ’s are a very popular choice for many occasions and really get the party started. A Karaoke DJ is similar in the respect that they still play popular songs, yet they also get volunteers on board to sing along with some of them in the same way that a Karaoke night takes place. This can add a really dynamic element to your event with some guests wishing to join in and sing, while others like to watch from a distance. What is quite good about a Karaoke DJ is that they don’t play every track with Karaoke in mind, they mix in normal songs for people to have a boogie too!
Wedding Officiant Service
A wedding officiant is perhaps best known as the person who leads the ceremony. However, that’s only part of their job. An officiant, whether secular or religious, works with the couple in the months before the wedding day to craft the ceremony, which may include personal vows, readings, music selections, and more. They may also provide premarital counseling. The officiant must be legally ordained to perform weddings in your state and understand your jurisdiction’s laws as they pertain to the marriage license. On your wedding day, your officiant will fill out and sign the marriage license (along with witnesses) and send it back to the county clerk’s office for certification. This may sound like a minor detail, but without a marriage license, you’re not actually married—so your wedding officiant has an essential role to play here.
